D-Link Secure Spot: Can I use different security software?

I have D-link Secure Spot and it is absolutely one of the best security devices I have ever used; especially the parental control feature. I just want to know If I can use my own antivirus, firewall, and spyware programs. The installation cd installs all of that for you but I'm a little unsure if the antivirus, firewall and spyware that it comes with is doing it's job. Im pretty sure it is to a certain extent but there's a lot of features that I like about my own, like Symantec Corporate edition, and Webroot Spysweeper. Does anyone know? Please help. Thanks!

I don't approve of all-in-one security packages because you can't be the best at everything. Also, they take up a lot of virtual memory. So, I recommend you only activate the parental control feature and use other antivirus, antispyware and firewall of your choice. However, if they don't get compatible with one another then you can use all the features of D-Link. If you think there might be lapses in your security, you can get the free AOL Active Security Monitor(google it).
