Do I need a firewall software program as well as Bitdefender 2008?

I just bought BitDefender 2008 but i am wanting to know whether i need a firewall program running too. i can't see anywhere that Bitdefender has a firewall. I think it's just antivirus. Currently i'm running the vista windows firewall.

Please could someone let me know what's best.

If you bought the internet security suite from bitdefender then it has a firewall embedded into the program.

But if you only bought the anti-virus then you could try ashampoo firewall.

It's free, I don't know if it's the best like I'm sure others on this page will say theirs are because it works for them. But I know it's light and very user friendly with internet clean-up options.

I know that it blocks the connections I want blocked and doesn't allow allot of crap into my pc...

install zonealarm firewall.. and move freely
If it's the Total Security 2008 then you already have the Internet Security 2008 of Bitdefender, that takes care of your firewall protection. If it's not, then you could just increase the strictness of your Windows firewall.
use Zone Labs firewall..
