Virus? or hack?

i can open everything EXCEPT my antivirus software, the computer barely runs, my icons have all been moved and tool bar wont go back. and i am getting spoof bank emails. im getting notices wih my name on it that my bank acct info has changed- when it hasnt. whats up guys?

maybe both ... i would definitely run some antispyware apps on it and install a software firewall ... i would change all ur passwords to everything just to be on the safe side ...
Reboot into Safe mode (hit F8 key repeatedly when rebooting), then run your anti-virus program %26 ad aware.
a few antivirus softwares wont work after some time. it could be (most probably) a virus attack.

if u can open ur task manger, look for any unknown process running in ur computer at user level. try to end it and see if it works. this is only a temperory relief!!! till u restart ur computer.

n about spoof bank emails, dont worry. since u r sure that ur bank accnt info hasnt changed, its just spam. ignore it and try not to check ur info through the link of the bank given in the mail.
You are infected with a Trojan. They have taken over, using you computer to get info to scam you and anyone else they can. Unplug from internet ASAP!!!
