IE7 closes out after I have been surfing for a while.?

This problem is not based on time because I can leave my browser open for more than a day. The problem occurs after I have been doing extensive searches, tonight I had been to about 20 sites on blueprints for homes then all of the sudden IE7 closes. This has been a problem since I replaced my HD and reloaded everything. I have done all the updates for Windows XP home and made sure I have auto updates on for IE7 also, it drives me up the wall to spend all this time to find what I was looking for to then have IE7 close me out. Also my favorites folder will not work and right click functions stop right before it closes out. I have only recently loaded Firewall/Antivirus software and I had problem prior to this.

This is mostly due to Malware (computer viruses, worms, trojan horses, spyware, dishonest adware, and other malicious and unwanted software). You will need to run full anti-virus/spyware scan and clean your registry. I recommend you use these programs (they are free).

I recommend you use these programs (they are free).

1) AVG Free anti-virus

2) Ad-aware spyware remover

3) Spybot - Search and Destroy spyware remover

4) Advanced WindowsCare Personal

5) CCleaner - registry and privacy cleaner

Running these programs in Safe Mode (Tap F8 after powering on the computer and choose to boot to Safe Mode) can be more effective.

If after performing these steps you are still experiencing problems download HijackThis. But do not remove anything without first checking with the online community, it will find both legitimate and malicious software.
