Is it worth having 2 anti viruses installed? i hace AVG and Avira on.?

I have Avg and Avira Antivirus software in my computer, is that too much and if so which one should i keep?

you should only have 1 anti- virus program. if you have more then 1 they run into conflicts with one another. keep avg and get rid of the other.

Apart from speed issues, since they conflict they will reduce security. 2 anti-virus reduces it by up to 60%.
if you want to uninstall one antivirus, remove avg free then. ive also had both of them in the computer at the same time and guess what, when i was removing trojans from my cousin's trojan infested computer, avg literally caught 1/100 trojans that avira found and caught...



btw, if you haven't already, go configure your avira to everything to the max, everything it can scan in expert mode.
2 or more anti-viruses can cause major problemswith a computer.
no, just one is enuf. and two anti-viruses slows down the speed of your comp!
Pick one.



AVG (along with Norton) is notorious for disabling the features of other antivirus programs installed on the computer (or displaying the program files of the other antivirus software as viruses, so it can delete them).



Best bet is to pick which one works best and just use that one.



Same goes for antispyware software.
