my computer is a year 2000 model of windows xp...and i only use it as the base for wi-fi around my house...i dont want 2 spend any money for an antivirus software...

Avg is one of the best free or not free anti-viruses.

Download from here and use the free link.

avg also updates very reguarly.

Don't just rely on this only though.

Spyware is a bigger problem.

Try either of these as they are both free and both very good.

AVg, Avast!, AntiVIR and BitDefender are all good free anti-viruses.
